I wore these on a trip from Sydney to Adelaide and Return. They did not miss a beat. Excellent piece of kit!

Pants build quality seems good, however there are a number of issues. The knee section is far too skinny and results in my knee feeling like it is being choked on the circulation. I am tall and skinny, not thick legged. The knee pad on the left side had broken from it's holder under the mesh and sat at my ankles while riding. I had to constantly faff about manoeuvring it into position before hopping on the bike each time, only for it to slide down to my ankles again. So I spent 3600 klms on a recent ride to the Flinders, effectively without knee protection - not happy! Because they are located under the mesh liner and there is not a zip or velcro to undo to access them,I would have to slice the mesh open to do so. I would like to remove them and run seperate knee/shin guards under them ,but unfortunately, with the knee section so tight- wont be able to do this- so I will either have to strap them on the outside of the pants- or ride without knee protection (certainly not ideal either way) Another gripe is they have made the entrance to the cargo and side pockets so tight that you have to have very small hands to access them easily. I might add that my pants-(size 34 had the knee problems,my brothers-(size 36) did not. The waist fit was perfect,so they weren't undersized for me. Overall - these could have been very good pants with those improvements, but as they are- they're not really fit for purpose, and now that I've used them for 2 weeks - there is little I can do. Not what I expect for a pant that generally retails for $350 approx. None of this reflects on Bikebiz- they don't make the rst pants. Bikebiz is a fantastic vendor to buy off I have found. Hope this helps anyone thinking of these pants. Try them on in store and sit on your bike with them it's the only way you can be sure of the fit. Thanks.
