Trail skins 1 were awesome and I wanted to buy some more to replace the 4 year old ones. v2 doesn't have the same contoured rubber pad . It is fairly flat and not curved around the knee. Still will be OK i think. The air venting on these is awesome , that's the reason i wanted to get some more
