Proven CP2 Engine

The YZF-R7 has a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, in-line two-cylinder DOHC CP2 engine with forged aluminum pistons and direct-plated cylinders. Its 270-degree crank provides an uneven firing sequence for a characterful exhaust note and outstanding response at all engine speeds.

KYB Sports Suspension

The YZF-R7 has an adjustable KYB 41mm front fork and a linked-type Monocross shock with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. The rear shock unit is mounted horizontally, contributing to mass centralisation and highlighting the bike's compact size.
