The KLR650 has a 652 cc single-cylinder engine that offers a smooth power curve for both trails and highway cruising. The 2022 model features durability updates, improved mid-range performance, and greater generator capacity, making it ideal for adventure riders.
In addition to a larger (ø300 mm) front disc that delivers excellent stopping power, ABS offers increased rider reassurance.
The fuel tank has a 23-litre capacity, enabling a long cruising range.
The design features a high-tensile steel, semi-double cradle frame that has gained significant trust in the market over the past 30 years. An integrated rear frame and a long swingarm enhance stability and handling at highway speeds, whether riding with or without luggage.
The fine-tuned riding position is relaxed, facilitating long hours in the saddle. Rubber-mounted handlebars and footpegs, and rubber dampers under the seat help to manage vibrations for great ride comfort.
To meet the power needs of grip heaters, fog lamps, and other electrical accessories, the ACG has an output of 26 A. A total capacity of 80 W is available to power accessories (depending on usage).
