The 2021 Yamaha MT-09 has been revised with many features, including a refined chassis and engine package.
Our R&D team immediately went to work on the development of the new Yamaha and called on our AT2 profile to handle the power and torque of the 890cc three-cylinder monster engine. The AT2 is perfect styling for the MT-09 and incorporates our exclusive Works Finish, an aggressively styled matte finish carbon fibre end cap complimented by a facet-formed tip while adding an aggressive GP tone.
Right away, the bike lost 6 pounds by removing the stock system and installing the AT2 Race Series full system. With plenty of torque on the bottom end, we focused on bringing the power more to the top of the spectrum. After development and testing were all said and done, the AT2 gave the MT-09 a nice 2.7% increase in max HP and a 1.6% in max torque.
