The filter frame is of low quality, half the mounting holes are too small for the stock mounting bolts/screws, the width of the rubber molding around the filter element is quite inconsistent and excessive, and worst of all the whole thing doesn’t fit properly in the air box, with the top screw hole not even lining up. It would take some considerable modification (redrilling and cutting) to make the filter usable, and even then it might not seal completely against the airbox intake. The BMC filter the Sprint was to replace literally just drops into place with everything lining up perfectly.
