MotoGP™ Technology Refined for the Road

The Shark Aeron Dark Shadow brings elite track performance to the everyday rider, serving as the direct heir to the GP Aeron worn by MotoGP™ professionals. Constructed from a sophisticated COVA Carbon and Aramid blend, this helmet exceeds the stringent ECE 22.06 safety standards while maintaining a lightweight profile. It is designed specifically for demanding road racers who require high-speed stability and extreme protection without compromising on long-distance comfort.

Key Features

• COVA Carbon Construction: A high-strength shell made of Carbon On View and Aramid for superior impact resistance and weight reduction.
• Optical Class 1 Visor: Variable thickness from 4.2mm to 2.8mm eliminates visual distortion and includes anti-scratch and anti-fog treatments.
• Advanced Aerodynamics: Designed to reduce pressure on the neck and improve stability at high speeds for a lightweight feel.
• Comprehensive Ventilation: Features 5 air inlets and 7 outlets to effectively remove heat and moisture during intensive riding.
• Morpho 3D Cheek Pads: Provides a precise, "second skin" fit through 3D scanning technology that adapts to the rider's head shape.
• Emergency Quick Release: Allows for the fast and intuitive removal of cheek pads by first responders in the event of an accident.
• Sena Intercom Compatibility: Specifically engineered to house Sena Bluetooth® and Mesh communication systems within its internal structure.
• Magnetic Auto-Lock: A Double-D ring strap system enhanced with a magnetic lock on the chin strap protectors for secure fastening.

Uncompromising Comfort and Fit

To ensure a natural fit for a wide range of riders, Shark utilised extensive 3D scanning data to develop an interior that offers optimal support and stability. The internal lining features Alvéotech textile with Sanitized antimicrobial treatment, ensuring the helmet remains fresh during all-season use. For those who wear glasses, the Easy Fit system provides dedicated channels to eliminate pressure points, while the twin-density PU chin strap promotes a stable racing position to reduce fatigue on longer journeys.
