Nolan X-804 RS Triplonero Helmet

The Nolan X804 RS Ultra Carbon is the latest racing helmet from the Italian brand Xlite/Nolan, succeeding the popular X803RS. It has been tested according to the new ECE22.06 and features updates in the outer shell, aerodynamics, ventilation, inner lining, and visor. Designed for sporty riders at higher speeds, it competes well with top full-face helmets on the track and road.

Material

The X804 RS helmet features a carbon outer shell, ensuring extreme strength and a lightweight design. It comes in 6 sizes and 4 outer shell sizes, providing a safe and aesthetically pleasing fit. Additionally, it includes 2 inner shells with multi-density EPS for excellent impact absorption and protection against various types of impacts.

Comfort

The Nolan X804 RS U.C. full-face helmet prioritises performance and comfort. Its LAF (Liner Adjustable Fitting) liner allows for a personalised fit, enhancing comfort during rides. The helmet features the NERS (Nolan Emergency Quick Release System) for easy and safe removal by emergency services. Additionally, it includes 3D Cheek Pads, is glasses-friendly, and is prepared for a hydration system (Camel Bag) to prevent dehydration during intense rides. The removable, washable, antibacterial inner lining and wind protector further enhance the riding experience.

Visor

The Nolan X-804 includes an extra 2D visor, which is flat and provides a clear field of view without distortion. This type of visor is also found on top racing models like the Shoei NXR 2 and Arai RX-7V Evo. The 804 RS visor is Pinlock-prepared and comes with a Pinlock lens included. Additionally, it features the Safety Visor Lock System, which keeps the visor securely in place during intense racing. This new visor mechanism adds extra safety by ensuring the visor remains tightly closed.

Ventilation

The 804 features a new ventilation system called RAF (Racing Air Flow), designed to keep your head cool while racing. Optimised for a tucked position on a sportbike, it includes air intakes on the forehead, a top vent, and a chin vent, with hot air expelled through the back and under the spoiler. This ensures excellent ventilation, helping you stay focused on the road. Additionally, it has a breath deflector to prevent visor condensation.

Race performance

The X804 is a high-performance racing helmet designed for the track. It features an extra-large RAS (Racetrack Aerodynamic Spoiler) for optimal aerodynamics at high speeds. This design has been validated through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, ensuring the helmet performs well in various racing conditions.
