Bought these for summer. Probably not as cool as a more open mesh glove but the goat skin is comfortable and breathes a bit. Wrist zip and velcro should keep them on in a fall. Bought a SMALL women's which are a snug fit on my hand but the fingers are a little long. Compared with my Dri-rider XS women's gloves they are quite tight. They'll bleed a bit of colour onto your skin when you first wear them if you get a bit sweaty when it's hot.
