High-Performance Protection in a Short-Cuff Design

The Five SF-1 Evo is the short-cuff evolution of the racing-focused RFX1 Evo, designed for riders who demand high-level protection without the bulk of a full gauntlet. This glove combines a Syntech Skin topside for superior abrasion resistance with an ultra-supple full-grain goat leather palm for precise control at the handlebars. Drawing on a lineage that includes 14 S1 World Championship titles, the SF-1 Evo delivers track-derived safety features optimised for aggressive road use.

Key Features

• Syntech Skin Topside: Provides advanced abrasion and tensile resistance that exceeds the performance of traditional natural leather.
• Goat Leather Palm: Full-grain leather construction ensures an exceptionally supple feel and maximum tactile feedback at the controls.
• AirGo PROTECH Protection: Employs a rigid outer shell for shock resistance and a soft honeycomb inner layer to absorb impact while facilitating airflow.
• Ergo Protech Slider: Features a honeycomb protective shell on the hypothenar to provide a dedicated palm slider for slide protection.
• Anti-Twist System: An integrated accordion band between the ring and pinky fingers prevents finger separation and injury during a fall.
• TPR Cuff Slider: Includes a brand-new slider design to protect the wrist and forearm area in a compact format.
• External Seams: Finger construction uses external stitching to eliminate internal pressure points and enhance rider comfort.
• Touch Screen Compatible: Integrated conductive material on the index finger and thumb allows for the operation of mobile devices and GPS units.
• Hi-Res Grip: Reinforced palm sections provide optimal grip and durability at the primary contact points.

Advanced Impact Management and Build

The SF-1 Evo incorporates cutting-edge AirGo Protech technology, inspired by modern helmet construction, which utilises a dual-layer approach to manage impact forces while maintaining ventilation. Safety is further enhanced by honeycombed TPU metacarpal protection and 3mm foam reinforcements on the ring and pinky fingers. The addition of a Powernet nylon fourchette construction ensures flexibility and airflow between the fingers, making it a highly technical choice for performance riding.
