I found the product to be extremely well made of quality materials. I only used them to temperatures of 4 degrees with grip warmers worked well. I cant comment on water proofing as I only rode through light showers. I am a 3 XL in other major brands and had to return the initial purchase for a size smaller. This was hassle free ( thanks bike Biz) the only issue was the index finger was a little lengthy compared to my other fingers and did catch on the levers at times

These gloves appear to be really good quality. They are a bit tight for me at the moment in an XL but I think they will stretch a little bit and be quite comfortable. Definitely warm enough.
