Elite Track Performance, Advanced Race Protection

The Alpinestars GP Pro R4 is a race-bred gauntlet glove engineered for high-level track performance and elite rider protection. Constructed using a sophisticated material mapping approach, it combines bovine, goat, and kangaroo leathers to achieve a precise balance of durability, flexibility, and tactile feedback. This glove incorporates advanced impact technologies, including dual-density protectors and an aramidic lining, to ensure maximum safety during aggressive sport riding.

Key Features

• Premium Leather Mapping: Bovine and goat leather backhand with kangaroo leather palm and fingers for superior feel and flexibility.
• DFS Race Protectors: Dual-density Dynamic Friction Shield on the knuckles and cuffs for high impact resistance and integrated airflow.
• Aramidic Lining: Backhand and landing zones reinforced with aramidic fibres for enhanced heat and abrasion resistance.
• Impact Reinforcements: Strategically placed padding and reinforcements on the fingers, palm, backhand, and side of the hand.
• Mobility Panels: Leather accordion stretch panels on the fingers, thumb, and backhand for unrestricted movement.
• Finger Bridge: Third and fourth finger bridge prevents finger roll and separation during high-speed slides.
• Advanced Sliders: TPU finger sliders and a hard palm slider for managed abrasion and sliding performance.
• Secure Closure: Dual-closure system featuring a wrist adjuster and a cuff flap for a precise, locked-in fit.
• Airflow Integration: Perforated gusset panels at the knuckles and ventilated DFS protectors for cooling in high-intensity conditions.

Materials & Construction

The GP Pro R4 utilises a sophisticated blend of materials to optimise rider comfort without compromising structural integrity. The kangaroo leather on the palm is specifically chosen for its thin, high-strength properties, providing maximum throttle and lever feel. Internally, the inner-seam palm design eliminates pressure points, while the aramidic lining provides a secondary layer of defence against friction-generated heat during a slide.
