A superbly styled sport riding garment with premium leather and extensive stretch paneling, the Faster v2 Airflow Jacket is brimming with protective and performance features. Fully optimized for use with or without Tech-Air 5®, Alpinestars world-leading electronic airbag safety system, this jacket is equipped with a body-mapped race fit and pre-curved sleeves, thus optimizing fit and comfort, while extensive perforations deliver enhanced ventilation.

Construction;

Tech-Air® 5 compatible; Tech-Air® is the world’s first completely electronic, self-contained, full independent upper body motorcycle airbag system with no bike-to-rider set-up configurations required.
Racing leather jacket designed with a body-mapped race fit and pre-curved sleeves and body for optimal riding performance.
Strategically positioned accordion stretch panel inserts have been designed to accommodate Alpinestars Airbag System, allowing expansion when the airbag inflates but also offering a high level of anatomical performance and a superior fit when riding without the system fitted.
Highly durable and technical premium 1.3mm leather, multi-panel construction for comfort, and high levels of abrasion resistance.
Rear of the jacket is elongated for enhanced coverage when riding.
Snap-button system to integrate the Level 2 Alpinestars Nucleon back protector.

According to European statutory law the CE mark is a conformity requirement for the marketing of this product. The following standards apply to this product:
Fully CE-certified riding garment to CE – Category II prEN17092 standards – AA class.
CE Level 1 EN1621-1:2012 Alpinestars Nucleon Flex Plus shoulder and elbow protectors.
New shoulder protection features over-molded advanced TPU guard layered under the outer fabric for additional impact protection.
Nucleon flex plus Alpinestars CE-approved removable internal shoulder and elbow protectors for protection against impacts while being extremely flexible

Ventilation inlets on shoulders for high levels of airflow are zippered for ease of use.

Strategically positioned localized perforations for highly improve ventilation.
Hook and loop waist adjustment for an optimized fit.
Soft 3D mesh collar construction plus 3D mesh cuff edging for comfort with a mesh liner construction for improved breathability, comfort, and ventilation.
External, large-opening front hand pockets are zippered for peace-of-mind closure.
Multiple internal compartment pockets feature hook and loop for added security.
Interior waterproof wallet pocket for safe storage of documents/electronics.
Waist connection zipper allows attachment to Alpinestars riding pants.

I purchased this item as a Father's Day gift for my dad, and was fortunate enough to deal with Rita during and after the sale. Her customer service is super lovely and she was awesome to deal with. Unfortunately the jacket didn't fit, but she made the returns process smooth and easy for my Dad and he will be able to visit the store again once lockdown is over to try it on in his correct size.
