Standard equipment on the TRACER 9 GT+ Y-AMT includes radar-controlled adaptive cruise control, brake assist, Vehicle Hold Control and Yamaha’s innovative Y-AMT transmission, which allows riders to switch between automatic and manual shifting at the press of a button. TRACER 9 GT+ Y-AMT transforms from ‘sports’ to ‘touring’ in a way other motorcycles can only dream of, making it the perfect companion to take on life's roads.
The Tracer 9 GT+ Y-AMT features Yamaha’s 890cc CP3 engine, delivering strong torque for exceptional performance whether touring or commuting. It includes Yamaha's Acceleration Position Sensor Grip (APSG) and Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) for smooth, cable-free throttle response.
The 7” TFT features three themes and Garmin LinkBox connectivity for integrated navigation. Calls, messages, and music are accessible via the Yamaha MyRide App and controlled with a joystick on the left switch cube. It also includes a USB-A outlet for charging on the go.
The adaptive Matrix LED headlight revolutionizes motorcycle lighting by using a built-in camera to detect traffic conditions. It automatically adjusts individual LEDs to provide a precisely shaped beam for optimal illumination.
Discover a new riding experience with fully automatic (AT) or manual (MT) shifting using a finger-operated see-saw switch. Y-AMT seamlessly integrates with Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) features, enhancing your ride with optimal engine and transmission settings based on conditions and personal preferences.
The Tracer 9 GT+ Y-AMT features a Unified Brake System that uses a hydraulic unit to evenly distribute braking force between both wheels for optimal stopping power and control. Additionally, the Vehicle Hold Control applies rear brake pressure when stopped, ensuring smooth takeoffs on inclines.
The radar-controlled cruise control, in conjunction with the Y-AMT and KADS suspension, reduces fatigue by maintaining the correct speed and distance to the vehicle ahead. It also features blind spot detection, which flashes a warning in the mirror when a vehicle is detected in the blind spot.
The Tracer 9 GT+ Y-AMT features Yamaha Ride Control (YRC), allowing for a customizable riding experience. It includes three preloaded settings (SPORT, STREET, and RAIN) and the option to program two custom maps via the dashboard or MyRide app, enabling riders to adjust engine power and electronic interventions to their preferences.
The KYB Actimatic Damper System (KADS) is Yamaha's most advanced electronic suspension, controlled by a six-axis IMU and ECU. It adjusts damping in real-time based on load and road conditions, linked to the YRC mode for an optimal riding experience.
Yamaha’s Smart Key System lets you start the Tracer 9 GT+ without a physical key. The key fob operates nearby, enabling central locking for the steering lock, fuel cap, and hard side cases, which stay secure when the key is out of range. The genuine accessory top box works the same way.
The Tracer 9 GT+ Y-AMT features enhanced wind protection with a redesigned front fairing and windscreen. The new arrangement minimizes buffeting, ensuring both rider and pillion arrive refreshed. Additionally, the electronically controlled windscreen offers 100mm of adjustable height for personalised aerodynamics.
The Tracer 9 GT+ Y-AMT has heated handlebar grips with 10 warmth levels and three user-programmable preset settings. Designed for quick warmup and even heat distribution, they can also be used with the optional heated rider seat from Yamaha.
The Tracer 9 GT+ Y-AMT has a low-maintenance DID drive chain with diamond-like-coated rollers, enhancing performance and durability. This results in less stretching and adjustment needed, a longer service life, and reduced friction for a smoother ride.
The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is standard on the Tracer 9 GT+ Y-AMT. It uses sensors in the front and rear wheels to monitor air pressure, providing real-time readings on the TFT dashboard and warning the rider of any pressure loss.
