The Ténéré 700 World Raid connects distant places and creates new paths. It combines advanced technology with mechanical excellence. The latest model includes useful electronics, a finely tuned chassis, premium components, and enhanced comfort, making it suitable for any journey, whether on or off-road.
Yamaha's innovative technology enhances practicality for all kinds of adventures while maintaining the thrill of the ride. The new power modes, along with lean-sensitive traction, slide, and braking control, provide flexibility for road riding. Additionally, dedicated off-road settings ensure excellent handling and precise control on dirt trails.
The Ténéré 700 World Raid features Yamaha’s updated CP2 engine, offering enhanced linear torque and precise control for both on- and off-road adventures. The 690cc two-cylinder engine meets EU5+ emissions standards and boasts improved low-rpm torque thanks to a redesigned air intake.
Even better equipped to handle long journeys, add comfort to highway cruising, and make sticking to speed limits effortless, the latest Ténéré 700 World Raid is now equipped with both Cruise Control and Speed Limiter.
The Ténéré 700 World Raid features a six-axis IMU that monitors the bike’s movements, including speed, lean, and turns. This information allows the IMU to adjust engine output, maintain traction, and modulate ABS, helping you stay in control. This enhances your confidence and overall riding experience.
The new fuel tank assembly features two connected aluminum tanks mounted on the sides, making it 1.5 kg lighter than the previous model. It maintains a 23-liter capacity and a range of about 500 km*. This design reduces fuel movement for better handling and stability, while the low fuel pump position in the left tank helps centralize weight.
The new 6.3-inch full-colour TFT display is designed for optimal visibility in any position and features three themes – STREET, EXPLORER, and RAID – for various riding styles. It connects to the free MyRide app for Google-powered navigation, calls, messages, and music on the screen.
The latest Ténéré 700 World Raid adopts the Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle (YCC-T) and two power modes: ‘Sport’ mode for dynamic power delivery on spirited road rides and ‘Explorer’ for smoother throttle reaction when you venture off-road or negotiate wet surfaces.
The new 16-step adjustable steering damper enhances feel and feedback, allowing for increased damping support during off-road riding. It softens the impact of ruts, potholes, and side winds on the handlebars, improving rider comfort and confidence and reducing fatigue on long trips.
The new KYB fully adjustable 46mm high-grade aluminium USD forks offer optimised rigidity, while the revised spring and damping specifications improve shock absorption and tyre contact with the ground, increasing rider comfort and confidence. Additionally, the Kashima coating minimises friction and abrasion.
The upgraded KYB Monocross rear suspension features a fully adjustable linked design with 220mm wheel travel and a 106mm shock stroke. Its lightweight aluminum cylinder and piggyback reservoir tank ensure optimal performance in all conditions.
The Traction Control System (TCS) and Slide Control System (SCS) provide three modes—STREET, OFF ROAD, and OFF—to enhance traction and slide for various riding conditions. The ABS mode selection button allows for cornering ABS when ON, while the off-road focused REAR OFF and OFF modes enable rear or both wheels to be locked for improved control off-road.
