POWERFUL, RIDER-FRIENDLY 451cc PARALLEL-TWIN ENGINE

The new 451cc engine delivers smooth, powerful acceleration with ample low- to mid-rpm power and enough high-rpm capability for achieving higher speeds effortlessly. LIGHTWEIGHT TRELLIS FRAME

The Z500 features a trellis frame, akin to the Ninja H2, crafted with Kawasaki's dynamic rigidity analysis for optimal strength and weight. The engine is rigid-mounted and acts as a stressed member, aiding in the bike's low curb mass.

LIGHT, PREDICTABLE HANDLING

The bike has a supersport-style design with a short-wheelbase/long-swingarm and an optimized trail setting. Its light weight makes it easy to handle and maneuver both on and off the bike.

LARGE-DIAMETER Ø310mm BRAKE DISC

Measuring ø310 mm (the same disc size used on the Z1000), the Z500’s semi-floating front disc offers sure stopping power. ABS offers added reassurance when riding.

CONFIDENCE-INSPIRING REACH TO THE GROUND

The seat height is 785mm, but the slim design of the seat and engine allows for an unobstructed line for feet to reach the ground. The flat seat has ample padding in the front, while still allowing for a comfortable reach to the ground.
