A Special Edition Z500 model offers original colour and graphics along with other exclusive features and accessories. In addition to TFT instrumentation, an under cowl, and a USB-C outlet, the Z500 SE is equipped with a smoked meter cover, pillion seat cover, LED turn signals, frame sliders, tank pad, knee grip pads, and a radiator screen.

The 451cc engine of the Z500 SE provides ample power across the entire rpm range, making it effortless for riders to use regardless of the type of riding they do. Whether it's low-end power for accelerating in the city or top-end revs for highway riding, the engine is up to the task.
The Z500 SE has a trellis frame, similar to the Ninja H2, designed using Kawasaki's advanced dynamic rigidity analysis for optimum rigidity and light weight. The engine is rigidly mounted and used as a stressed member, contributing to the bike's low curb mass.
The bike has a supersport-style design with a short-wheelbase/long-swingarm and an optimized trail setting. Its light weight makes it easy to handle and maneuver both on and off the bike.
Measuring ø310 mm (the same disc size used on the Z1000), the Z500 SE's semi-floating front disc offers sure stopping power. ABS offers added reassurance when riding.
The seat height is 785mm, but the slim design of the seat and engine allows for an unobstructed line for feet to reach the ground. The flat seat has ample padding in the front, while still allowing for a comfortable reach to the ground.
The upright riding position and wide handlebar of the relaxed rider triangle allow for active control, facilitating dynamic, sporty riding for riders of various sizes and situations.
The Z500 SE's front design is based on a triple LED headlight unit with an intense look. It features two upper headlights as low beams and a single lower headlight as high beams, focusing on the two low-beam headlights while delivering excellent lighting performance.
The new Z500 SE has a sharp, aggressive style with a large-volume design. Its athletic bodywork reflects its performance, and sugomi design elements give it a silhouette instantly recognisable as a Kawasaki Supernaked.
A high-grade, full-color display with TFT (thin-film transistor) technology delivers a high level of visibility. The screen’s background colour is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light. Like the standard model, smartphone connectivity lets riders connect with their ride.
A conveniently located and simple-to-use USB-C outlet provides a way to power additional accessories or recharge devices. It is located on the inside of the headlight cowling.
