As soon as I purchased these boots they were comfortable from day 1. I took a gamble as I’m normally a size 44 but purchased a size 45 which gives me the ability to wear thicker socks. I previously had RST’s which were a good boot but not waterproof but the TCX Hero’s are. I also wanted a boot that I could get off my bike and go out in and they are certainly that.

I’ve tried out quite a few boots and these felt comfortable straight away, so I didn’t need to buy insoles to make them comfortable. I’ve had them for about three years now and ride every weekend and I have had no any issues at all with the stitching coming apart or anything. So the build quality is there for sure. My last pair of boots cost about the same but literally fell apart after three years. Also I think with these, the soles can be replaced when they wear out. So that’s great.

These are extremely comfortable and are definitely wearable all day. I think they will also age well and seem very solid. First wear was all day with business meetings over breakfast and then all day meetings plus 200km commute. I was very impressed and they will be my go to any time I am not in full gear.
