50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION

The YZ250F 50th Anniversary Edition is a motocross bike that blends modern four-stroke performance with the classic YZ style for which Yamaha is known. This bike pays tribute to Yamaha's 50 years of off-road innovation by drawing inspiration from their two-stroke motocrossers of the 1990s.

The advanced four-stroke engine in the YZ250F is designed with a high-spec piston, aggressive cam profiles, and a forward-positioned intake cylinder-head layout. This engine boasts class-leading low-end and mid-range torque as well as a broad, usable powerband. For 2024, the intake path has been made more efficient, and the ECU settings have been revised to provide even more mid- to high-end power.

The aluminium bilateral beam frame of the YZ250F has been completely redesigned based on Yamaha's flagship YZ450F. This frame provides just the right amount of strength and flex for optimal stability and cornering performance. As a result, the rider experiences a better-handling machine with a lightweight feel and increased front-wheel traction, which leads to greater confidence and more line choices when entering corners.

Advanced 250cc 4-stroke Engine

The YZ250F engine is liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, and has a broad powerband with strong low-to-mid-range torque. Mid-to-high-end power will increase in 2024.

Switch between two engine maps with a handlebar-mounted button, easily adjusting to track or weather changes. Maps are preloaded and configured in the Power Tuner App.

Strong, Lightweight Wheels

The wheels are designed with computer technology to be lightweight yet durable. The rear wheel has a three-cross-spoke pattern for better impact absorption and a smoother ride.
