The Yamaha YFZ50 is an ideal starter ATV for children aged six to nine, featuring a compact design, simple controls, and an automatic 49cc engine for hours of family fun. The YFZ50 is designed as the perfect starting point for aspiring ATV riders aged 6 and up. It features a low-maintenance 49cc engine that is tuned to provide responsive, controllable performance. Engine limiters and a power cut-off tether switch make it easy for young riders to adapt as their skills grow.
A robust steel frame design incorporates a large 5.7 Litre fuel tank, plush seat and roomy integrated floorboards.
Push-button electric starting comes standard, of course, and an emergency kick starter is also provided in a storage spot under the seat for additional peace of mind.
The YFZ50 is equipped with features like a two-stage rpm limiter, a throttle limiter, and a tethered switch for parents to monitor and control the engine power for young beginner riders.
Engine power is transferred to the rear wheels via a tried-and-true O-ring chain drive, running along a swingarm that's set at an optimized angle for rear shock performance.
