The KLX300 is built to genuinely do both jobs — a fuel-injected 292cc single and fully adjustable suspension (an inverted front fork and a piggyback-reservoir Uni-Trak rear shock) mean it's just as capable on tighter trails as it is on the road between them. Kawasaki explicitly markets it as a Learner Approved Motorcycle, so that dual-purpose versatility doesn't require waiting for a full licence. An all-digital instrument panel and LED headlight round it out as a genuinely modern take on the dual-sport formula.
The 292cc engine delivers strong, rider-friendly power at low and mid-range rpm, smoothly transitioning to a powerful top end. Positioned low in the frame, the engine contributes to a lower centre of gravity.
Kawasaki’s innovative radiator fan cover directs hot air away from the rider, enhancing rider comfort.
The high-tensile steel perimeter frame, composed of box and tubular sections, results in a slim, lightweight package. Additionally, the lightweight and highly rigid aluminium D-section swingarm contributes to low unsprung weight.
An inverted front fork and a Uni-Trak rear shock with a piggyback reservoir mean the KLX300's suspension can genuinely be tuned to rider weight and terrain, not just left at a factory default.
The dual purpose KLX300 is fitted with a 21” front wheel and 18” rear, enabling great off-road potential.
The bike features a relaxed, upright riding position enhanced by a thick urethane seat, providing comfort for longer rides. A comfortable reach to the ground boosts rider confidence. The new shroud design allows for smoother transitions when shifting positions, enabling riders to feel more connected to their machine while cornering.
