The KLX140RL steps the standard KLX140R up with genuinely larger wheels (a 19-inch front and 16-inch rear) and a taller seat, giving it more presence and better rollover capability for a growing rider. Front and rear disc brakes and adjustable suspension mean the extra size comes with genuinely upgraded hardware to match, not just a taller seat bolted onto the same bike.
The 144cc, air-cooled SOHC 4-stroke engine easily starts with the push of a button. Air-cooling eliminates the need for radiators, keeping the chassis slim and lightweight while a 5-speed transmission with a manual clutch delivers smooth shifting and acceleration.
Compression and rebound damping with adjustable spring preload mean the KLX140RL's suspension can genuinely be tuned to rider weight, not just left at a fixed setting.
Bigger wheels than the standard KLX140R give the KLX140RL better rollover capability over obstacles, useful as a young rider tackles rougher terrain.
