The DCT version keeps everything that makes the NT1100 a genuine touring proposition — torque, comfort, tech — and removes the clutch lever from the equation entirely. Honda's automatic dual-clutch transmission shifts smoothly and quickly on its own, so the only thing left to manage on a long day is how far you want to ride.
The 1084cc powerplant has a strong bottom and mid-range torque, tuned for responsive acceleration, a smooth climb to the redline and relaxed cruising with a characterful feel and sound.
The 43mm Showa cartridge-type SFF-BP inverted front forks feature 150mm wheel travel and are preload adjustable. The single-tube pressurised Showa rear shock offers 150mm wheel travel; it uses a 14mm diameter rod.
Cruise control, heated grips, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto all carry over from the manual NT1100 — the DCT changes how you shift, not what you're touring with.

Honda Selectable Torque Control and wheelie control are tuned specifically to work with the automatic transmission, so the safety net stays just as strong without a clutch lever in the mix.
URBAN: offers an all-around middle setting of engine power and braking. RAIN: reduces engine power and braking for extra reassurance on wet or slippery surfaces. TOUR: gives full engine power and standard braking, for strong acceleration while carrying a pillion and luggage.
The screen offers a 5-stage adjustment for height and angle through a total of 164mm between the high/low position. Set low, it sends air around the shoulders; set high it moves air over the rider’s helmet. Fitted as standard, upper and lower deflectors provide wind and weather protection.
