LIGHT, VERSATILE AND REFINED.

649CC DOHC ENGINE
The 649cc, DOHC 16-valve engine provides a simple, linear torque transmission that builds up strongly as revs increase and sound fantastic in the process. You're going to get enough low-to-medium torque, plus a lot of control over the entire rev range.

FOUR-INTO-ONE EXHAUST
The CB650R features a twin-duct intake system designed to bring cold, compressed air to the airbox, increasing horsepower. They need to slow down the engine without taking power, they need to help tune the engine performance, they need to sound fantastic, and they're a big design factor on every bike.

SIX-SPEED TRANSMISSION
Smooth, almost smooth changes and gear ratios suited to the way you want to ride: these are two of the features that make this Honda so enjoyable to ride.

HONDA SELECTABLE TORQUE CONTROL
With the Honda Selectable Torque Control System (HSTC), the CB650R provides peace of mind under rough driving situations. The machine changes the strength of the engine to maximize the torque on the rear wheel, reducing the slippage of the rear wheel.

15.4L FUEL TANK
A bike as powerful as the CB650R requires a lot of space, and the 15.4 liter fuel tank offers just that.

Y-SPOKE ALUMINUM WHEELS
Aluminum wheels have "Y"-shaped spokes that help minimize unsprung weight. Light hoops have a stronger impact on management than the numbers themselves indicate.

DIGITAL INSTRUMENTS
Based on our CB1000R, the CB650R LCD display features a digital speedometer and tachometer, plus a clock, odometer, tripometer, real-time and average fuel consumption meters, and illuminated engine diagnostic indicators.

LED LIGHTING
The CB650R uses LED lamps, tail lights and markers. The bezel around the headlight is finished in black, accentuating a clearer shot. This LED headlight is both brighter and smaller than the traditional version and adds a great deal to its look.

TRAPEZOIDAL BODY LAYOUT
It sounds like a mouthful, but it just means that the CB650R has some amazing lines, and that it just looks good.

LUSTROUS NANO-PIGMENT PAINT
The CB650R’s dual-layer candy paint is applied with a Nano pigment clear coat on top of a base coat. Aluminium flakes in the base coat give this paint a shimmering look.

SLIPPER CLUTCH
The Assist slipper clutch lightens the operation of the clutch and eliminates rear-wheel hop during rapid downshift.

STRONG STEEL FRAME
The twin-spindle frame comprises pivot rods, engine clips, seat rails and other weight-reducing elements. It is light, solid and provides the basis for stellar handling of the CB650R.

ABS
Featuring wide 310 mm disks, the CB650R also comes with four-piston radial callipers. The effect is a premium sport bike stopping power that is linear and easy to modulate. The 240 mm hydraulic disk at the rear complements the twin front disks with plenty of stopping power.

TAPERED HANDLEBAR
The handlebar of a bike makes a big difference in how you react to your vehicle. We moved the CB650R bar forward and also adjusted the bend in the bar. Plus, using a luxury, tapered-section swaged bar will give you more front-end feedback.

41MM SHOWA FRONT SUSPENSION
The front suspension uses some of the leading-edge equipment. The 41 mm fork is fitted with the Showa Separate Function Fork (SFF) which offers reduced weight, superior rigidity and excellent actual quality. The aluminium bottom triple clamp completes the photo.

NEUTRAL SPORTY RIDING POSITION
One of the most ride-friendly features of the Neo-Sports Café style is how you balance on the CB650R. You 're ready to work vigorously, but you're still relaxed. You can see what's going on around you and enjoy longer trips with a little bit of exhaustion.
