The Dynamic Chassis Adaption (DCA) is an optional feature for the R 1300 RT, providing variable spring rates and adjustable damping for two riding positions. Comfort modes offer softer settings for relaxed riding, while Dynamic modes increase height and stiffness for better leaning. The rear damper improves steering, via Clicksetting.
With Headlight Pro, you’ll experience the road in a new way. The adaptive headlight function lights the road well, even during turns or at night. The optional adaptive light modes adjust for better visibility and safety. At low speeds, lights spread wide; on country roads, they extend farther; at highway speeds, they focus on distance.
With the optional variable slipstream deflectors, you can control airflow for comfort and reduced wind pressure on rides. The lower position offers pleasant upper body ventilation, while the upper position maximizes protection against wind and weather. The new cylinder trim panel also keeps shoes and ankles dry in rain.
The automated shift assistant enhances touring with automatic clutch operation and gearshifting for an easy ride. Use “D” mode for efficiency or “M” mode for control. The boxer engine provides precise power and smooth gear changes for a stable, comfortable ride.
The Audio Pro sound system features high-quality speakers with 4-channel actuation for clear treble and deep bass. The gold speaker is visible through the cover. The Connectivity Hub simplifies the use of BMW Motorrad accessories, such as head-up display glasses and heated jackets, reducing the need for helmet buttons.
The new luggage system offers advanced technology and comfort. The touring Vario case allows flexible volume adjustment for more space. It features a central locking system for security, interior lighting, and a power socket.
