Iconic drive: the boxer engine

The powerful heart of the R 12 NineT is a further stage of evolutionary of the 1,170 cc air/oil-cooled boxer engine. With a full 109 hp (80 kW) and 115 Nm, it provides an unmistakable riding experience.

Eye-catching highlights: aluminium surfaces

The high-gloss lacquered, brushed aluminium surfaces ensure a radiant appearance. They create striking contrasts and emphasise the value of the R 12 nineT. Particularly eye-catching is the aluminium tank.

Setting the tone: the rear silencer

For the first time, the boxer has been equipped with a shift assistant. This is part of the optional comfort package. It enables smooth, fast gear changes without operating the clutch, thus increasing dynamics and riding comfort.

Upon request, the R 12 nineT arrives in the digital age: With the optional Digital Display, the round instruments are replaced by a 3.5" micro TFT display, which ensures clear legibility even in bright light conditions thanks to its high resolution.
