The authentic RR experience begins off the racetrack as well. With its supersport design, the newly developed two-cylinder engine produces 48 hp, and with a kerb weight of only 177 kg, the BMW F 450 RR brings true racing DNA to your everyday life. It allows you to step into the world of RR racing and challenges you to test your skills on every ride.
The F 450 RR is LAMS-approved, making it suitable for riders on a learner or probationary licence. Visit your authorised BMW Motorrad retailer to learn more.
F 450 RR Sport Additions
- Gear Shift Assistant Pro
- Sport Suspension

Drive off and stop without using the clutch in the M Sport ERC variant, thanks to the Easy Ride Clutch. It uses centrifugal force to keep the clutch closed in overrun mode for familiar engine braking. Paired with Shift Assistant Pro, you can drive clutch-free while retaining full control, with the option to manually engage the clutch when needed.

The BMW F 450 RR combines a striking split-face front and iconic daytime riding lights to enhance its supersport aesthetic. Its streamlined design, featuring a full trim panel, slim teardrop-shaped tank, and short rear, makes it instantly recognisable as part of the RR family—tailored for the 450 class and your entry into the RR world.

With Pro riding modes, you can customise the M Sport to match your driving style. In Race Pro mode, you can adjust engine characteristics, Dynamic Traction Control, and the Anti-lock system. Three additional Sport screens on the standard 6.5-inch TFT display show traction control, brake force, lean angle, and lap times, helping you fine-tune your technique and setup.

The Sport and M Sport ERC variants bring professional racing technology to your drives. The Shift Assistant Pro enables seamless gear changes without clutch operation, maintaining traction and rhythm during acceleration. You can also easily reverse the gearshift diagram for a sportier setup.

Precision begins with the right setup. The gold-coloured 43-mm upside-down fork offers 140 mm of spring travel. In the Sport and M Sport ERC variants, you can adjust the rebound and compression stages for a personalised driving experience, perfect for both daily rides and adventurous outings.

Adjust the brake and clutch levers for your grip width to ensure safe access and maintain feel when braking, clutching, or shifting gears. The standard heated grips can be controlled via a multi-controller with three heating levels, keeping your hands warm in colder weather while ensuring a precise grip and comfort on every ride.

The new two-cylinder in-line engine is torque-oriented, responding quickly to throttle commands. With 80% of torque available from just 3,000 rpm, its 420 cm³ and 48 hp deliver impressive performance, allowing you to ride further, ride after ride.

The compact underbelly muffler of the BMW F 450 RR is positioned beneath the engine, maintaining its clean supersport silhouette. This design saves about 2 kg compared to a conventional rear silencer, while still highlighting the distinctive sound of the two-cylinder engine, blending design, lightweight construction, and RR character.
