6 SpeedThe Yamaha YZ65 is an ideal first step for young mini-moto riders aspiring to race and win. It delivers the same high-performance and reliability found in larger YZ models, making it perfect for every young racer with big dreams of success.
This 65cc two-stroke features advanced technologies from the YZ125 and YZ250, including the Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS) for crisp bottom-end torque and a free-revving top-end, making it fun and manageable for smaller riders.
The YZ65 features light, neutral handling with a steel cradle frame designed for optimal rigidity in the 65cc class. It provides excellent bump absorption on rough tracks, jump landings, and whole whoop sections. It has a removable aluminum rear subframe made from square-section tubing for reduced weight and easy maintenance, similar to the full-size YZ motocross bikes.
The patented YPVS™ technology provides enhanced low-end torque, solid midrange performance, and a freely revving top-end, optimizing the advantages of the compact engine and lightweight chassis.
The 36mm KYB® fork provides excellent compliance based on Yamaha’s racing experience, while the link-less shock design is lightweight and tailored for 65cc-class riders. Both front and rear suspensions are adjustable for rebound and compression damping.
The YZ65 is highly tunable to fit riders of various sizes, with a 4-position adjustable aluminium taper handlebar clamp, adjustable position clutch and front brake levers, grippy foot pegs, and long seat design to help riders move across the bike.
The YZ65 may be the smallest member of the family, but it packs in the same aggressive styling as the larger YZ and YZ-F siblings, even down to the slick blue Excel® wheels.
