Lightweight, powerful, and designed for cross-country competition, the YZ250X is Yamaha's premier two-stroke woods racer. Featuring the legendary 249cc YZ liquid-cooled, reed-valve-inducted two-stroke engine, the YZ250X is tailored for off-road racing. It comes equipped with an 18-inch rear wheel, wide-ratio gearing (a five-speed transmission), a standard side stand, a sealed O-ring chain, a reserve fuel petcock, and a scraper positioned between the fork's dust and oil seals, all contributing to its exceptional performance.

Cross-country-spec Dunlop Geomax MX33 tyres, both front and rear, are ready for the races. The 18-inch rear tyre features a tall sidewall to improve comfort and reduce pinch flats.

Industry-leading KYB Fork

The fully adjustable KYB 48mm forks now offer tool-free compression adjustment at the top of each fork leg. The speed-sensitive system utilizes piston speed to regulate the damping force, resulting in precise handling, excellent bump absorption, and 300mm of suspension travel.
