Brings Pleasure, Cost-Effectiveness, and Joy

The MT-07, which was born in Japan's Dark Side, offers one of the purest and most exhilarating riding experiences available. With a new look, chassis upgrades, cruise control, and Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission (Y-AMT), the edgy and aggressive MT-07—famous for its lightweight, agile handling, and torque-laden CP2 engine—is now punchier than ever. These features will further elevate the experience and elevate this ground-breaking motorcycle.

The most recent MT-07 has the best specs to date, with lightweight SpinForged wheels, 41mm inverted forks, and radially mounted front brake callipers. In addition to improving the motorcycle's agility, the cutting-edge acoustic amplifying technology maximises intake noise and lets loose the renowned CP2 growl for the most captivating and immersive ride to date.

All-new Minimalist Styling

MT-07 features a new simple design with a unique ‘face’ from its LED headlight. Its engineering and styling work together to improve the riding experience.

Highly Responsive Suspension

The MT-07 looks more contemporary thanks to the new 41mm "upside down" forks, which also provide excellent control and an easy connection with the front tyre. Every time, a sporting ride is produced thanks to the highly responsive forks and a linked-type rear shock absorber that can be adjusted for both preload and rebound damping.

YCC-T and Switchable TCS

To strengthen the bond between rider and machine, YCC-T (Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle) enables a new generation of electronic aids and helps achieve even more linear power delivery. In addition to switchable traction control and two throttle maps, Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) offers a customisable YRC mode to suit your tastes.

Acoustic Amplifying Technology

The MT-07's sound amplification system enhances and channels the bike's induction roar to the rider, reinforcing the grin-inducing sensation provided by the MT's renowned torque and adding to the visceral connection between rider and machine.

Large Front Brakes

Large twin discs held in place by radially positioned 4-piston brake callipers give the fourth-generation MT-07 cutting-edge stopping power. The enhanced rigidity in the design guarantees that forces are distributed evenly under severe emergency braking, enabling strong and reliable braking performance.

Lightweight SpinForged Wheels

The wheels, which use Yamaha's patented SpinForged technology, help make the MT-07 lighter and more agile. This keeps strength intact while enabling a lighter and thinner casting. Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres have been specially chosen as OE equipment for the MT-07, being famed for their light handling and all-around capabilities.

Y-AMT and Cruise Control

Yamaha Automated Manual Transmission (Y-AMT) changes the riding experience. You can shift manually with a switch or use fully automatic transmission. Y-AMT works with Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) and cruise control for easy highway riding.

Revised Chassis

The frame uses high-tensile tubular steel for strength and rigidity, weighing about 14. 8kg like the previous MT-07. It offers 12 to 13% more rigidity, with significant changes to the swingarm pivot assembly for improved balance and handling.

New intuitive switchgear

The MT-07's integrated new handlebar switch assemblies enable it to perform a number of tasks, including navigation, smartphone connectivity, and riding modes. For lane changes, the new turn signals have a "three flash" feature and self-cancel. Emergency Stop Signalling alerts other drivers by detecting emergency braking and turning on indicator lights.
