With its aggressive front light assembly as well as bold air scoops and a sculpted fuel tank, the MT-03 looks cooler than ever with its dual slant-eye position lights that emphasise its moody and aggressive big-bike looks. And for excellent night-time visibility, a powerful centrally mounted LED headlight burns a hole through the darkness to light up the road ahead.
The MT-03’s serious big-bike specification is underlined with the addition of upside-down front forks. The front end reinforces the bike's high specification and is equipped with flex-resistant 37mm tubes and a cast aluminium upper triple clamp. It delivers a confident and smooth ride during braking, acceleration and cornering.
Manufactured from 35mm steel tubing and featuring widely spaced top rails, the MT-03’s compact frame mounts the engine at four points to create a strong and lightweight structure.
To match the MT-03's radical new looks and class-leading specification, Yamaha has fitted state-of-the-art instrumentation. Featuring a stylish new LCD meter with data, this meter panel provides easy-to-absorb information.
For strong and predictable stopping power, together with plenty of feels, the MT-03 is equipped with a large diameter 298mm front disc brake featuring a floating 2-piston calliper, while the rear wheel is fitted with a 220mm disc. ABS is fitted as standard.
The MT-03’s dynamic new appearance is reinforced by the new LED flashers that perfectly complement the bike’s aggressive looks.
