Honda Forza 300
POWERFUL COMMUTER AND WEEKEND HIGHWAY CRUISER
POWERFUL ECONOMICAL ENGINE
The 279cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected SOHC four-valve engine has optimized power characteristics (via a gas flow head, long-range spark plugs, and adjusted valve timing) to provide a comfortable trip at medium, mid and high rpm – plus excellent fuel economy.
DURABLE SUSPENSION AND ABS
Powerful 33mm telescopic forks are balanced by twin rear shock absorbers adjustable by a 7-stage preload mechanism. The 15-inch aluminum front wheel is fitted with a 120/70-15 tyre, while the 14-inch rear wheel (1-inch thicker than the previous design) is fitted with a 140/70-14 tyre.
RUGGED STEEL FRAME
The Forza 300 platform is a tubular steel chassis that also cuts the wheelbase from 35mm to 1510mm. The rake is slightly steeper at 26.3° (from 27°) with an 89mm trail and the radiator and the battery are located between the fuel tank and the under-sealed storage room, centering the mass.
HONDA SELECTABLE TORQUE CONTROL
The Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system has been fitted to the Honda scooter, senses the difference between the front and rear wheel speeds, measures the slip ratio, and then regulates the engine torque by fuel injection to restore the rear wheel traction.
The Forza 300's specification lines flow back from the electrical panel, operated by a switch on the left-hand handlebar, which changes smoothly across 140 mm. It is designed to shield the atmosphere and reduce the noise of the storm.
Smart Key itself resides in the rider’s pocket and does away with the need to constantly insert and withdraw a key. Remote monitor can be flipped between 3 modes: odometer, residual range and current mpg; trip meter, average mpg and timer; or air temperature thermometer and battery sensor.
Two full-face helmets can be placed under the seat and the storage space can also be partitioned to accommodate a hat and/or rain gear. The front left inside of the fairing pocket is lockable, and the back of the pocket can be designed for the passenger, to carry a phone and/or a bottle of water.
In a dramatic departure from the outgoing standard, the entirely new style shifts from a more relaxed, rounded feel to a smoother, more streamlined look, totally in line with the versatility and efficiency provided by the more compact dimensions.
