Our scrambler style begins with a 12L retro fuel tank with pads, a blacked-out engine and frame, rubber gaiters, and, in keeping with CL tradition, a twin-pipe exhaust muffler with a distinctive stainless heat shield. The twin-cylinder engine, which is LAMS-approved and capable of generating a healthy 43.4 Nm of torque, has been tuned for a quick response and clever acceleration. The CL500 screams with the kind of style and attention to detail that only comes with a rich past and begs to be ridden, personalized, and enjoyed.

The lightweight, small size and ample torque of the 471cc parallel cylinder engine strike the perfect balance for a mid-sized motorcycle engine. Continually monitoring the situation, PGM-FI makes sure the right fuel mixture is being supplied.

When riding in less-than-ideal conditions, front and rear disc brakes and the standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) help you stop more smoothly and in control.

The CL500 position is set up in an upright, cozy posture for ease of control. The flat seat has plenty of space to move back and forth, enabling a more aggressive attitude.

A negative LCD display is housed in the 100mm, easily readable ring. The minimal display has an illuminated engine diagnostic indicator, clock, odometer, digital speedometer, and gear position indicator.

Although the traditional round headlight has a retro feel, it also has contemporary LED lighting for improved on-road visibility.

The 35mm diameter steel diamond-tube frame is lightweight and sturdy and provides a lot of feedback as the road surface changes. Vibration is minimized by the design and placement of the engine mounts and the rigidity balance of the frame.

With a lighter lever, the assisted clutch facilitates smoother gear changes.

Front suspension is made of Showa 41mm Separate Function Fork Big Piston (SFF-BP) inverted forks. At the rear, you get a Pro-Link® set-up. This combination gives you superior reaction and ride quality.
