This Stage 2 Air Box Cover is a CNC machined out of billet black polyamide 6, and designed to work exclusively with the DNA stock replacement air filter. Correctly used it will increase the airflow, torque and power of the engine.
Installation info are included with this DNA Stage 2 Air Box Cover and fuel injection recalibration is necessary.
The filtering efficiency of the assembly with the DNA Stage1 Air Filter (R-Y7N14-01) is extremely high at 98-99% filtering efficiency (ISO 5011).
The airflow of this DNA Stage2 Air Box Cover (TC-Y7N14-S2) combined ALWAYS with the DNA Stage 1 Air Filter (R-Y7N14-01) is +179.76%! over the YAMAHA stock application!

This product does exactly what it's meant to do. Do not ride with out refreshing ecu. Just installed on new yzf r7 HO, and bike is now out of tune. Make sure you get an ecu flash before riding.

The quality is good , the fit is good , can only be used with the Dna air filter though. i have this fitted to my XSR700Lams. In the description it says that Efi calibration is needed, which is not possible without a power command unit, you can only adjust low rpm fuel mixture , so be careful Lads. I have derestricted everything and have the ECU out of the MT07 HO and it runs fine, not lean at all ,no calibration needed. You can notice the quicker throttle response and it has definitely put some go on top.
