Yamaha has totally redesigned the XMAX 300 for MY23 with a fresh new look featuring dynamic and sporty bodywork and a distinctive X-shaped LED headlight. Riders can now keep in touch via the new high-tech 4.2-inch colour TFT connected instruments that enable smartphone connectivity – and the new display features Garmin navigation and a wide range of other functions.

The 300cc Blue Core engine delivers strong acceleration with high levels of fuel economy and Yamaha reliability – and improvements such as better ground access and revised brake lever ratio enhance the overall riding experience.

Offering everyone the ultimate riding experience while inspiring unrivalled pride of ownership, the all-new connected XMAX 300 represents one of the biggest steps forward in Yamaha Sport Scooter design in recent years.

Powerful and Efficient Engine

The XMAX's 292cc engine has been designed using Yamaha's Blue Core technology, whose fundamental aim is to achieve more power using less fuel. An offset cylinder design helps to minimise mechanical losses - and for increased cooling efficiency a DiASil cylinder is used with an oil jet piston cooler.

The new XMAX 300 features a radical-new face in the form of a distinctive X-shaped headlight/position light layout that is unique to this new model. 4.2inch Colour TFT

The comprehensive instrumentation features an all-new high-tech 4.2-inch colour TFT infotainment display that gives the rider smartphone connectivity, and the screen can also function as an onboard navigation system.

Garmin Navigation System*

After installing the Garmin StreetCross app on their smartphone and connecting to the XMAX 300’s CCU, riders can utilise the Garmin navigation on the 4.2-inch colour TFT infotainment screen. This sophisticated system enables searches by location name and various other methods via the smartphone.

Optimised Fuel Injection Settings

The positioning and angle of the 12-hole injector have been optimised to spray atomised fuel particles towards the back of the valve head, and the shape of the combustion chamber and intake port is designed to create a good tumble motion for quick and efficient combustion that gives stronger low to mid speed torque.

New Slimmer Seat

For a more comfortable ride together with easier leg reach to the ground, the seat on the new XMAX 300 is redesigned. The shape of the taper at the front of the seat is revised, making this scooter even more enjoyable in stop/start traffic conditions.

Motorcycle-Type Forks

The TMAX was the first high-performance maxi scooter to use motorcycle-style front forks, and the XMAX 300 adopts the same layout. The frame is equipped with a double-clamp telescopic fork and twin rear shocks to ensure sporty motorcycle-like handling.

Smart Key - Keyless Ignition

The very latest technology is being used in the construction of the XMAX 300, including a Smart Key keyless ignition. Not only does it mean you don't have to waste time trying to find which pocket you've put your keys in.

Traction Control System

The fitment of a Traction Control System as standard underlines the advanced specification of this Sport Scooter. Using a number of sensors that temporarily reduce the drive to the rear wheel when any loss of traction is detected, this electronic system provides rider confidence in wet or slippery conditions.
