HONDA C125 SUPER CUB
THE LEGEND CONTINUES
Super Cub C125 engine is simple, powerful, durable, and economical. The air-cooled two-valve fuel-injected SOHC 125cc model has been upgraded cosmetically with a matt metallic-looking paint finish and chrome detailing to give it a luxury appearance and has also been revised internally to increase riding comfort.
CLASSIC SUPER CUB STYLE
On the original unit, the handlebars, designed to look like the wings of an eagle, were a tactile and accommodating point of sale, and the modern-day Super Cub C125 – with its cast, tapered handlebar covered in a streamlined molded resin containing the switchgear and the instruments – reflects this theme.
Engine noise is kept to a minimum with the use of helical primary gears and higher quality crank log bearings. Bearings have been applied to the shift drum for slicker gear change; rubber is used on the shift arm and improved clutch damper rubber eliminates shift shock.
EASY TO HANDLE
Pleasant, quick handling has always been another Super Cub force – also a Beach Boys song in the 1960s ('My Little Honda'). In order to preserve its comforting nature, yet to update it to the 125cc standard, the Super Cub C125 began the C110 tubular steel 'backbone' frame as a base.
Rake and track are set at 26.5 °/71mm with a wheelbase of 1245mm. Front telescopic forks sport 100mm range, twin rear shocks with 84mm soaking bumps while sleek 17-inch cast aluminum wheels improve stability and steering accuracy.
LED LIGHTING AND DIGITAL DASH
The illumination is sleek and crisp LED, while the instruments show the complexity of the overall architecture, with two lenses divided by dual chrome rings; the outer ring includes the sweep of the analog speedometer needle and warning lights.
TOUCH OF MODERN TECH
The Honda Smart Key is a sleek finishing touch; put it in your pocket and forget about it, the Super Cub C125 is live and ready to go. It also activates the immobilizer as an additional burglary protection, and is fitted with a 'return back' feature where the indicators 'blink' at the click of a button to make locating the car.
