The simple air-cooled engine provides strong and reliable performance along with easy operation. The 5-speed transmission features short gearing, which enhances engine performance in the low to mid rpm range, thereby improving off-road capability.

With a capacity of 6.9 liters, the fuel tank enhances the bike’s long-range, allowing riders to enjoy a full day of trail riding on a single tank.
The KLX150 features a highly rigid frame and an advanced suspension system that provides excellent handling and feedback. It is equipped with a 35 mm inverted fork at the front, paired with a Uni Trak rear suspension that offers adjustable spring preload. With 185 mm of front travel and 192 mm of rear travel, the KLX150 is well-prepared for tackling trails.
Large-diameter wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear are designed to tackle obstacles on off-road trails, providing high-level performance. Aluminum rims help reduce unsprung weight.
Petal disc brakes provide strong stopping power and good control. A 240 mm front disc, gripped by a twin-piston caliper, delivers strong, easily controllable braking. For the rear, a single-piston caliper operates a 190 mm disc.
The rider interface was designed to put the rider in a position to easily control the bike with minimal fatigue.
All-digital LCD instrumentation offers high legibility and a compact design. Features include a speedometer, odometer, dual trip metres, fuel gauge, clock, and indicator lamps.
A new, compact LED headlight provides excellent illumination at night or in low-light conditions. A new headlight cowling and new front fender contribute to sportier, more aggressive styling.
