Diablo Rosso Corsa uses the experience gained by Pirelli in racing championships all over the world and adopts new technologies developed in these racing environments to ensure high levels of performance and safety, for performance on the road and the track. In particular, Diablo Rosso Corsa is characterised by compounds derived from WSBK and also EPT (Enhanced Patch Technology) which optimises the tyre’s contact patch at all lean angles.
SBK grip, street lasting performance
Diablo Rosso Corsa is an inticing unity of track-spirited compounds collaborating with a street reliability and duration customary for supersport street tyres.
Differentiated compound zones
The long-lasting supersport compound on the central rib of Diablo Rosso Corsa tread pattern is the nexus for full throttle street riding. On the tread shoulders, the testimonied World SBK racing compound allows the rider knee-griding lean angles on any kind of
Extraordinary touch with the surface
Diablo Rosso Corsa footprint has state-of-the-art geometry and pressure distribution of its contact area with the asphalt for stunning power transmission while accelerating, during cornering and in braking.
Diablo Rosso Corsa adopts EPT, the patented design technology invented by Pirelli in the World SBK. The optimisation of the contact patch is the key for performance and focuses the engineering of the tyre-set on this competitive advantage. Through contact patch maximization, EPT technology brings forth an innovative concept for the tread, a new profile design, all-inclusive of the patented zero degree steel belted radial structure.
A new generation of riding feeling
The perfect equilibrium between front and rear profiles of Diablo Rosso Corsa comes from street-driven solutions combined with special polymers perfected through the heritage of successful racing activity. The result is a tyre with predictable steering: confident
and progressive while leaning, quick in standing-up under acceleration out of corners.
Ideal Contour Shaping (ICS)
Front and rear profiles are the result of the purposeful arrangement of steel belt cords within the tyre’s carcass for desirable road handling and tyre weight reduction. With ICS technology the tyre’s production incorporates the handcrafted care of Pirelli engineers
supported by advanced computer modeling systems, a feature for the Diablo Rosso Corsa to guarantee support at lean and great confidence in cornering exit at full throttle.

I have a 2010 CBR1000RR Fireblade that came with Dunlop Qualifiers as standard, the Dunlops felt ok, but I changed to the Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa, and have to say i wont be going back.
much better feel from the Pirelli's, and seem to have similar wear life to Dunlops.
