But its main new feature is MICHELIN LTT (Light Tyre Technology). The MICHELIN Power Pure weighs 2lbs less than rival tyres.
The Michelin Power Pure sees Michelin's acclaimed 2CT dual-compound technology break new ground by providing even more soft rubber on the shoulders. This softer compound kicks in sooner, too.

I had a Pure front tyre fitted to my Hayabusa on Thursday. The difference between the Pure and the Bridgestone it replaced was immediately apparent.
I had read the Michelin brochure about how the tyre's lower weight improved handling...but I had thought it was probably just typical marketing BS. Well, I was wrong. The Pure is a great tyre. It will easily handle speeds of up to 240km/h with no problems.
I suspect it will only be a matter of time before Pirelli, Bridgestone, Dunlop, et al., follow suit.
