6-Speed TransmissionThe KX’s smooth-shifting six-speed transmission offers a positive shifting action along with rugged durability thanks to hard chromed shift forks and new bushings added to the second, third and fourth gears on the output shaft. Perimeter FrameSetting the KX85 apart from the competition is its advanced, high-tensile steel perimeter frame. Its increased rigidity and lower centre of gravity (Thanks to a centralised fuel tank) adds up to superior handling and rider feedback. 36mm Inverted Forks36mm inverted cartridge forks utilise a 49.5mm upper tube for increased rigidity and better steering response and control. 18-way compression damping adjustment enables precise dialling-in to suit a range of rider requirements. |
