Radial tyre design has taken some huge advances in the past 5 years. The Sportmax Q2 is a very different tyre to the (outgoing) Qualifier. Dunlop has used technology learnt from the amazing NTec to completely redesign the new Sportmax Q2.

Features:

• IRP “Intuitive Response Profile” Allows the rider greater latitude in line choice while cornering and provides amazing linear steering no matter what shape, speed or camber the corner and at all lean angles.
• JLB Jointless Band - Continuously wound strong aramid band reduces carcass distortion at high speed plus provides stiffer overall construction to provide a more consistent  contact patch.
• C.T.C.S. “Carcass Tension Control System” This technology is incorporated on the rear tyre to allow different areas of the tyre casing to be designed with different tension levels, which control local stiffness for improved suspension capabilities and better rider feel.
  • Higher Tension in crown area for stability
  • Less tension at shoulders for grip compliance
• MT Multi Tread Compound New compounds utilising “ultra-fine” carbon black for a denser structure providing speedy warm-up time & more durability.
